A Sales Development Rep (SDR) in a pet insurance call center is primarily responsible for generating leads and qualifying potential customers. Their role is crucial in the sales process, and their activities typically involve:
Core Responsibilities
- Outbound Calling: Reaching out to potential customers to introduce pet insurance plans.
- Lead Generation: Identifying and qualifying potential customers based on specific criteria.
- Appointment Setting: Scheduling appointments for sales representatives with qualified leads.
- Product Knowledge: Developing a deep understanding of different pet insurance plans and their benefits.
- Overcoming Objections:Addressing customer concerns and objections effectively.
- Data Management:Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and lead information in the CRM system.
- Sales Pipeline Management:Contributing to the overall sales pipeline by providing qualified leads.
Additionally, SDRs in pet insurance call centers often juggle various responsibilities including educating potential customers on the benefits of pet insurance, understanding and articulating product differences, maintaining accurate customer records, and collaborating with the sales team to ensure a seamless transition of qualified leads.

The opportunity

Compensation & Growth
Compensation starts at ₡450,000 per month and can increase based on performance. High achievers are eligible for raises as early as three months into the role, along with potential monthly bonuses.
